Services Status

(updated March 17, 2020)

Dear Ridgetop Church Family,

As you are likely aware, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended
all gatherings of 10 or more people to be postponed or cancelled for the next 15 days due
to the coronavirus. Therefore, the church will be closed until March 31. We will
reevaluate the situation and our worship and ministry options after that.

This impacts our congregation in a number of ways. Here are some things that we are doing
to stay in touch and worship together.

  1. We will be livestreaming our worship service at 11:00 on Sabbath morning. You will be able to find it on our website at ridgetopsda.com.
  2. We are hoping to have online options for children and adult Sabbath School classes, and more information available in the next few days.
  3. Regarding your tithes and offerings, please take advantage of Adventist Giving Online. You can find the “Giving” link on our website, or you can also give by mail at P.O. Box 135, Ridgetop, TN 37152.
  4. For prayer meeting, we will be setting up a conference call line where we can pray together on Wednesday evening at 7:00. We will get you the information you need shortly.
  5. If you or someone you know is at high-risk and concerned about going out to get necessities, we have some volunteers who are willing to help. For more information, please contact Elder Brian Beard at 615-815-8236.
  6. For more updates regarding our response to the coronavirus, please regularly check our website, our Facebook page, and your email.
  7. Please know that during these uncertain times, the elders and I are still here to serve you. Please feel free to reach out to any of us. You are in our prayers.

We encourage you to please do your best to follow the CDC guidelines and stay healthy.
God has given us some wonderful counsel that will greatly help all of us: eat healthy,
exercise regularly, drink water, get sunlight and fresh air, be temperate, get plenty of rest,
and most importantly trust in God. Let us not forget His promise:

“Fear not, for I am with
you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will
uphold you with My righteous right hand”

Isaiah 41:10

Sincerely,

Pastor William
